I started a blog last year, but was only going to use it to keep information. I have decided to start using it for recording our homeschool journey and any other thoughts I might have. If anybody is interested, here it is. :) And I am open to any advice about how to make it better too. I am so computer dumb.

I looked at your site. I noticed you have a nice picture and good categories.
Not at all bad!

I was toying with the idea myself a week ago or so. Was thinking of Wordpress.org or com, or the 'blog' group you joined.

How did you decide to go with 'blogit'?

I noticed I showed up in the traffic as coming from Oswego, Il
which is about 40 min. east of me. I asked Steve about that.
that is where our comcast head is.

I was just more familiar with Blogger than the others. I had started one on homeschoolblogger a long time ago, but never did anything with it. I didn't like it as well as blogger for ease of use. Plus, I might want to discuss things besides homeschooling. For sure, actually.

I show up Waynesboro on some blogs and Roanoke on others and Covington on mine. Not sure why. Waynesboro is where our telephone service thingy is based, so that makes sense. Not sure why Roanoke sometimes, except that it is the closest "bigger" city near us.

I changed my name too. I have an internet alias that I use just about everywhere but here. :)

My internet and phone was down nearly all day! fixed now.
I have been playing around with my blog and changing features.
you are so right about the time thing. Lots of time eaten up tonight.
No one home tonight though anyway but Steve who is busy with other
things.

I don't have lots of time. so I will get things set and see what happens.

Yeah, once you stop playing with the settings and "pretties," and stuff, the actual posting doesn't really take up too much time. It's that fun stuff that gets you, though. :)

Hey Laura! What happened to your blog? Did you just decide you don't have time to fool with it or something?


I deleted it this morning!
I was getting WAY too intense with it. :hh

I will rethink this idea of mine. And yeah the fun part of picking out all the
visual stuff is way too time consuming. Maybe another time. :shrug

I still like the idea of doing one, but.... we will see. I couldn't do it with
a daily involvement. Especially since I will be working....soon I hope.

I enjoyed seeing the pictures on your blog!

I also enjoyed the post in Nov. after you are married and described your
husband and how you felt about him. :cryvery sweet. :thmb
