An Ill-Fated Step

In the garden he awaits

for your ill-fated step to take.

In the garden you could not see

the dangers that awaited thee.

As quickly as he came quickly he will go

leaving behind pain and sorrow.

There's no logic to understand

the pain inflicted by his hand.

What are his motives we will not know.

The act of the enemy brings only sorrow.

There is one who can help reveal

the cards in his hand he plans to deal.

By the spirit we will know .

By the spirit we'll sense where not to go.

Only in the spirit can we see

the acts of the enemy once unseen.

Through our faith we can stand.

Through his love we will mend.
